P2IO thesis award

The P2IO LabEx distributes annually (since 2016) two thesis prizes: the prize for the best doctoral thesis in the 4 scientific themes of the LabEx and the prize for the best doctoral thesis in the 3 technological themes and the 2 interdisciplinary themes.

2022:

• Rudolph Rogly (Irfu/DPhN) for his thesis entitled « Mesure du spectre antineutrino de fission de l’ 235U par l’expérience Stereo et préparation de l’expérience Nucleus de diffusion »

• Noé Brucy (Irfu/DAp-AIM) for his thesis entitled  « De la dynamique galactique à la formation stellaire : comment est régulé le taux de formation d’étoiles? »

2021:

• Virginia Ajani (Irfu/DAp-AIM) for her thesis entitled « Higher order statistics for cosmology: likelihood development for future surveys like Euclid »

• Melih Ozcelik (IJCLab/Théorie) for his thesis entitled  « Pseudoscalar Quarkonium Hadroproduction and Decay up to Two Loops »

2020:

• Janeth Valverde (LLR) for her thesis entitled « New insights on the nature of blazars from a decade of multi-wavelength observations: Discovery of a very large shift of the synchrotron peak frequency, long-term optical-gamma-ray flux correlations, and rising trend in th BL Lac 1ES 1215+303 »

• David Baudin (Irfu/DEDIP) for his thesis entitled « Développement d'un spectro-imageur CdTe pour application spatiale »

• Lucia Rinchiuso (DPhP) for her thesis entitled " Etude du Centre Galactique et recherche de matière noire avec H.E.S.S.".

• Martin Owusu-Mensah (CSNSM) for his thesis entitled " Compréhension des premiers stades de formation des nano-précipités (Y,Ti, O) dans les aciers ODS ".

• Pauline Zarrouk (DPhP) for her thesis entiteld " Analyse des corrélations spatiales des quasars et implications cosmologiques avec le multi-spectrographe SDSS-IV eBOSS ".

• Antoine Lehébel (LPT) for his thesis entitled " Objets astrophysiques compacts en gravité modifiée ".

2017:

In view of the high quality of the candidates, the committee decided to award the prize for the best scientific thesis to two winners.

• Julia Casanueva (LAL) for her thesis entitled " Control of the gravitational wave interferometric detector Advanced Virgo ".

• Olcyr Sumensari (LPT) for his thesis entitled " Search for new physics through flavor physics observables ".

• Mathieu Muniglia (SERMA) for his thesis entitled " Optimisation du pilotage d'un Réacteur à Eau Pressurisée dans le cadre de la transition énergétique à l'aide d'algorithmes évolutionnaires ".
