"Elémentaire" is a project that aims to make particle physics known to as many people as possible. Why is it important to study this area of fundamental research? What experiments are exploring it? What is the current state of the discipline? What role does it play in the advancement of our knowledge?

After a 6-year hiatus, the journal publishes its new issue, issue 9, focusing on the first results from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN.
