SRF is the only conference bringing together the world's leading experts in the field of superconductivity, i.e. the science and technology of "cold" accelerators using superconducting materials. This activity is today the basis for the design of the most powerful and efficient accelerators available.

This conference is part of a series initiated in 1973 at the Collège de France as an International Colloquium on photon-photon collisions in Electron-Positron storage rings, dedicated to the hadronic interactions of photons. The different topics addressed are: QCD and high energy photons, jets, quarkonia and heavy flavors, Higgs and photons, electroweak interactions and physics behind the standard model, diffraction, resonances, low energy photonics experiments, photons in astroparticle physics, new accelerator techniques for future accelerators, ...
