The 4th international workshop on transmission electron microscopy with in-situ irradiation focuses on a combination of TEM with ion irradiation and in-situ electron. Areas of discussion include advances in electron microscopy and ion irradiation techniques as well as current and future research. All scientific fields using these techniques are covered including: nuclear materials, radiation effects on semiconductors, nanostructural modifications...

The experimental manifestation and theoretical description of the various deformations that the nucleus can represent and their associated symmetries constitute the central theme of this meeting. Recent results obtained with various detection systems such as AGATA, GALILEO, JUROGAM, GAMMASPHERE, GRETINA, GRIFFIN, TIGRESS, INGA, AFRODITE and their associated additional detectors are presented, as well as the most recent theoretical advances in the modeling of collective excitations or exotic symmetries.

The workshop focuses on polarized and non-polarized positron sources for future linear and circular colliders. Some discussions are dedicated to photon sources for industrial applications. The conference covers the fundamental aspects as well as the associated technological challenges indicating the main directions in which R&D can be maintained to further push the current limits.

This conference explores the scientific, technological and engineering challenges associated with radiation shields in its broadest context, including nuclear power systems, accelerator infrastructures, lasers, space, medical and other radiative environments. It is one of the first international events dedicated to this multidisciplinary radiation shield field.

The aim of this conference is to develop Franco-Russian relations at the interface between Mathematics and Physics. There is a long tradition in both countries in mathematical physics. The interface between combinatorics and random geometry on the mathematical side and quantum field theory and statistical mechanics on the physical side is developing strongly in France and Russia. New methods have recently emerged such as map combinatorics and random tensors. The aim is also to encourage new generations of French and Russian mathematical physicists to get to know each other. The conference may also lead to new co-supervisions of PhD students, exchanges of postdocs and other collaborations. conférence.

The National Program of Cosmology and Galaxies (PNCG) is an Action on Projects of the National Institute of Sciences of the Universe (INSU), CNRS, CNES, CEA, the National Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (IN2P3) and the Institute of Physics (INP). The priority axes of PNCG cover the evolution from its origin to the properties of local and star-resolved galaxies, in particular our Milky Way.

This year's days are an opportunity to prepare the renewal of the program in spring 2017. Reviews around the different themes supported by the program will be proposed, as well as discussions around strategic questions for this discipline. New results and ongoing research will also be presented.

There are many open questions in Physics nowadays, each of them touching the fields of Particle Physics as well as Cosmology/Astroparticles. For example, only 5% of the Universe is described by the Standard Model of Particle Physics. A much greater contribution comes from dark matter, whose existence has been deduced from Astroparticle measurements, and for which a wide variety of models have been constructed. Other topics such as Bariogenesis remains an open question related to Leptogenesis, CP violation and the matter content of the current Universe. Knowledge of the neutrino sector has increased impressively in recent decades but the question of hierarchy is still unresolved and would need accelerator/astroparticle and cosmological measurements to be well understood.

The IPA conference brings together theorists and physicists to discuss the above mentioned topics.
