This conference is dedicated to research dealing with the effects on insulating and non-metallic materials. Since its first edition in 1981 in Arco, Italy, REI has been held every two years to present and discuss the latest advances in the field of modifications to insulating materials through different radiative sources (ions, electrons, neutrons...).

With recent advances in pattern recognition algorithms and microelectronic technology, the design and performance of trajectographs are rooted in a strong interaction between hardware and software: sensors, reading and triggering electronics, online and offline reconstruction software. The main topics of this workshop are shape recognition and machine learning algorithms dedicated to the reconstruction of particle tracing in high energy physics experiments, and hardware developments.

The conference "Quantum Gravity: Physics and Philosophy" aims to bring together physicists who have been working in recent years on the possibility of constructing a quantum theory of gravity, and philosophers interested in the conceptual issues that have inevitably been raised on this occasion. The philosophy of quantum gravity is a recent research topic. An ERC project entitled "Philosophy of Canonical Quantum Gravity", directed by Gabriel Catren (Université Paris-Diderot), aims at answering the questions of a quantum theory of gravity from a philosophical point of view.

The 3-day workshop deals with new approaches to explore the short-range structure of baryons and non-disruptive QCD phenomena such as chiral symmetry and its breakage using proprietary electromagnetic processes. Particular emphasis is placed on a unified description of the processes in the deep exclusive regime. The workshop brings together experts in perturbing QCD, electromagnetic process phenomenology and dynamic models of hadronic structures to discuss the impact of present and future experiments, discuss current theoretical methods, identify future directions and enable a joint approach to study GPDs and N* physics.
