Appel d'Offres Docs 2016 du LabEx P2IO (French & English versions)  

Le Labex P2IO a le plaisir de vous informer qu'il ouvre un nouvel appel d'offres doctorales, qui permettra de pourvoir 4 demi-bourses doctorales de 3 ans dans les laboratoires ou équipes de P2IO. Cet appel d'offres, commun aux théoriciens et aux expérimentateurs, a pour but de promouvoir la recherche sur l'un des 4 thèmes scientifiques de P2IO, à savoir :

P1) Les symétries dans le monde subatomique

P2) Composantes sombres de l'Univers et phénomènes violents

P3) Matière Nucléaire fortement couplée

P4) Formation des systèmes stellaires et conditions de l'apparition de la vie,

et/ou sur l’un des trois thèmes technologiques :

R1) Accélérateurs

R2) Capteurs

R3) Traitement de données

ainsi que sur les thématiques transverses :

T1) Energie

T2) Santé.

 

Les critères de sélection seront (sans ordre de priorité): 

• Excellence de la recherche et qualité de l’équipe d’accueil 
• Adéquation avec les thématiques de recherche de P2IO 
• Impact du projet sur la visibilité du LABEX et du doctorant

 

Les dossiers complets devront être soumis au plus tard le 10 décembre 2015 via un formulaire électronique. L’adresse du formulaire est disponible sur demande à cspd-bureau@labex-p2io.fr. Une confirmation de réception sera envoyée dans la semaine après la clôture de l’appel d’offre.

 

Il vous sera demandé de :

• choisir un titre,
• choisir le thème P2IO principal de votre dossier (et un second thème si besoin),
• décrire le projet (5000 caractères au maximum),
• décrire le plan de travail du postdoc (1000 caractères au maximum),
• donner le laboratoire, nom et adresse mèl du directeur/de la directrice de thèse
• donner le cas échéant des informations sur le financement du projet dans les trois années précédentes,
• un emplacement sera alors disponible pour tout commentaire (par exemple, si plus d’un thème P2IO est couvert par le projet, vous pourrez préciser la répartition entre thèmes).

 

Les dossiers peuvent être soumis en Français ou en Anglais.

 

Les directeurs/directrices de thèse des dossiers sélectionnés en seront informés en Février 2016.

 

Après validation par l’école doctorale, les directeurs/directrices retenus présenteront en juin 2016 au CoDir leurs candidats, qui ne seront formellement retenus qu’après validation par le CoDir.

The P2IO LABEX has the pleasure to inform you of the opening of a new call for proposals for four three-year half-PhD-scholarships in the P2IO laboratories and teams. This call, for theorists and experimentalists, has the aim to promote research in one of the four P2IO scientific themes:

P1) Symmetries in the subatomic world

P2) Dark components of the Universe and violent phenomena

P3) Strongly coupled nuclear matter

P4) Stellar system formation and life emergence conditions

and/or in one of the three technological themes:

R1) Accelerators

R2) Detectors

R3) Data processing

as well as in the transversal themes:

T1) Energy

T2) Health.

The selection criteria will be (not ordered by priority): 

• Excellence of the research and of the team
• Consistency with the P2IO research themes   
• Project impact on the visibility of both the LABEX and the Ph.D. student.

The proposal has to be submitted by December 10, 2015 at the latest via an online form. The form address is available on request at  cspd-bureau@labex-p2io.fr. A confirmation mail will be sent in the week after the closing of the call for proposals.

You will be asked to:

• choose a title
• choose the leading topic of your proposal (and sub-leading topic if applicable)
• describe the project (5000 characters max)
• describe the scientific environment (1000 characters max)
• describe the workplan for the PhD student (1000 characters max)
• give the lab and the name of the supervisor and his/her e-mail address
• give information on other funding within the last 3 years (if any)
• a comments field is also available (you can add the percentage of sharing between the themes you have chosen)

The proposal can be written in French or English.

Selected proposals will be informed in February 2016.

After having obtained the approval of the graduate school, the supervisors will present their candidates to the CoDir in June 2016. The candidates will be formally accepted after validation by the CoDir.
